What is contactless laser measurement?
With modern electronic surveying equipment, it is now possible to accurately measure distances without physically touching the object being measured. These devices use precise lasers to measure and calculate locations in three dimensional space.
This technology has several benefits including faster, more accurate layouts. It is now possible to measure items where you would not want to ask a person to hold a traditional survey levelling rod or prism.
Measuring things like overhead power lines or unsafe excavations can now be accomplished without physically touching the wire or sending someone into the excavation. This is a huge advantage in congested worksites with heavy equipment.
Full survey kit including Nikon Reflectorless Total Station, Leica 3D Disto and TruPulse Rangefinder all capable of measuring to the mm. All data available in common digital formats upon request.
